This is to inform all the prospective candidates offered provisional admission or probably seeking admission into the University of Namibia, UNAM for 2025 academic session that the management of the institution has released the amount they are required to pay as acceptance fee. We specifically publish this information here today, for all people who need to know the current school fees of the University of Namibia, UNAM. Please note that if you have applied for admission to the University of Namibia, UNAM or if you are already a student, it is advised that you know the current tuition fees for all students, and this knowledge will help you, avoiding making mistakes that will cost you your admission.

- Registration fees are payable on or before the day of registration for each semester.
- Due date for outstanding fees for semester one (1) is on or before May 2024 and for semester two (2) is on or before 30 November 2024.Â
- Students should note that they need to register for 2nd Semester modules during the prescribed periods. Registration of 2nd Semester modules are not automatic but needs to be registered after paying the approved deposit as stated above. No year modules will be registered in the 2nd Semester.

- Wear and Tear fees of N$ 975 (non-refundable) is payable before or on day of each semester registration.
- Hostel fees are payable on the day of registration at the beginning of each semester.
Please take note:
- Students are encouraged to sort out their financial enquiries prior to registration.
- Outstanding balances of previous years should be settled in full, before registration.
- Direct bank deposits and electronic transfers should be done 3 – 4 working days before registration date.
- A student number must be used as a reference for all direct and electronic deposits.
- Students, who settle their tuition fees before the end of February 2023 qualify for a 10% discount on tuition fees (excl. Additional class fees) and should apply in writing on or before 31 May 2023 (1st semester) and 30 September 2023 (2nd semester).
- In order to be exempted from paying the required deposit, bursary holders need to provide written proof of sponsorship/bursary from the sponsor/donor.
- Students registering with a Provisional Award Letter from the Namibia Student Financial Assistant Fund (NSFAF) should pay the registration fee of N$2,245 plus the required deposit for campus accommodation. Kindly note that the Provisional Award Letter is not a guarantee for a loan to be awarded.
- A late registration fee of N$600 is payable by all students who register after normal registration.
Payment plan on remaining balances (non-bursary/loan holders):
Sign a debit order at registration to pay off the remaining balance by or on 31 May 2024 (1st semester) and 30 November 2024 (2nd semester).
