This article contains information on the University of KwaZulu-Natal registration process and guidelines for new and continuing students, thereby preparing them for the 2025 academic year.
The registration is done via the ITS iEnabler, which is a self-help/online system. The system is accessible off-campus for convenience. You don’t have to stand in long lines and don’t have to come to campus. This guide will enable you to process your online registration successfully.
Follow the steps that are provided to make this process an easy an d exciting one.
UKZN REGISTRATION GUIDELINES AND PORTAL
Before registering, you must make sure that:
- you have been fully admitted (a firm offer) to the desired degree
- have obtained financial clearance
- and have cleared and/or removed all system holds on your student account as per the University’s rules and policies.
How do register online?
- Compliance with all of the pre-registration requirements (above)
- Go to the website address (UKZN Student Central Portal)
- Enter your student number
- Enter your initial/existing password and click on login
- Go to the administration tab, choose register on I-Enabler and click on continue
- Click on UKZN web registration on the left of the screen and complete each of the steps sequentially
- If you have made any mistakes, click on cancel subject and choose your subjects again. Press either ‘Restart Process’ to start over or “Previous” to change the selection in the prior screen.
- New students must proceed to Risk Management Services with their ID book to obtain student cards.
Please remember that final dates for payment of registration fees and the final date for registration as per sessional dates still apply.
