Every year the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) publishes vacant positions for interested & qualified South African citizens to apply for. This year is no exception. Therefore the Jobs are listed below together with their requirements, roles, salary and qualifications.

This Circular is published on a weekly basis [2] and contains the advertisements of vacant posts and jobs in Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC). Although the Circular is issued by the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) Team is not responsible for the content of the advertisements. RTMC CAREER (VACANT) POSITIONS, ROLES, REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS 

Applications are invited from qualified persons for the traffic officer position [3] shown below.

We are excited to announce two unique job opportunities that have arisen at RTMC: Examiner: Driving License (Ref No. RTMC/ TLE: EDL/2023) and Personal Assistant: Executive Manager Corporate Services (Ref No. RTMC/ CS: PA/2023). Both positions are located in Eco Park.

1. Examiner: Driving License

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Review applications meticulously, cross-checking details with identification and supporting documents
  • Complete and submit procedural information and forms
  • Update schedules and registers reflecting processed licensing and testing applications
  • Maintain records of applications, reports, and tests
  • Control the issuing of learner’s and driver’s licenses, professional driver’s permits, and instructor’s certificates
  • Handle and resolve public inquiries and complaints within the section
  • Keep proper records of all processed application forms
  • Check and confirm compliance of submitted applications with DLTC specifications
  • Manage administration functions within the sub-section for smooth DLTC operation

Eligibility:

Candidates should possess:

  • Grade 12
  • Examiner of Driver’s Licence Diploma
  • Minimum Code B driving licence
  • Registration as an examiner for driving licences or NATIS user
  • Minimum one year practical experience as an examiner for driving licence or as a Licensing Officer
  • Sound knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act

2. Personal Assistant: Executive Manager Corporate Services

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage the calendar of the Executive Manager
  • Maintain communication flow into and out of the Executive Manager’s office
  • Assist the division in meeting targets and deadlines
  • Assist the Executive Manager with preparing communication memos, emails, reports, and presentations
  • Manage financial administration tasks including timely payments to service providers
  • Maintain a reliable and efficient filing system

Eligibility:

Candidates should possess:

  • National Diploma at NQF level 6 qualification in Secretarial / Administration or related discipline
  • Three to five years’ experience in an administrative position

    I would like to know when is the next intake and the closing date?
    I do meet all the minimum requirements.

  9. Im interested in joining RTMC for Traffic related field. I’m currently working for TMPD in Transgressions Unit for 9 years now.
