The Department of Defence (DOD) proudly presents a unique 24-month Graduate Internship Programme for the fiscal year 2023-2024. This opportunity offers recent graduates the chance to gain valuable work exposure in their specialised field of study.
Department of Defence (DOD) Graduate Internship Eligibility
Applicant Profile:
- Employment Status: You must be unemployed.
- Previous Experience: You must not have participated in any Public Service Internship programme.
- Age Bracket: 18–35 years old.
- Special Consideration: Graduates with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply.
Required Documentation:
- Primary Form: A fully filled and signed Z83 form from any Public Service department or via the DPSA website.
- CV: Comprehensive with contactable references.
- Educational Requirement: Students requiring experiential training for their course must provide an official letter from their institution.

- Submission: Applications must be accompanied by the required documents. Please ensure the relevant reference number is quoted on the application form.
- Certification: Shortlisted candidates must present certified documents before or during their interview.
- Exclusion:
- Candidates who have previously taken part in any other Government Internship or Learnership programme will not qualify.
- Incomplete applications or missing documents may lead to disqualification.
- Applications sent via fax or email will not be entertained.

- Deadline: Applications must be submitted by October 6, 2023.
- Feedback: If you do not receive any communication by December 6, 2023, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Note: Candidates who successfully qualify for the programme must make their own arrangements regarding accommodation and transportation throughout the internship duration. Personnel Suitability Checks, including criminal record and security clearance reviews, will be conducted for all successful applicants.
