Applications to study for the listed programmes above in 2023/2024 are now open for both internal and external applicants. INTERNAL APPLICANTS are students currently registered at WSU for the 2025 academic year. EXTERNAL APPLICANTS refer to any graduate who meets the requirements for the qualification.

BUFFALO CITY TVET COLLEGE TRIMESTER 2 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Entry requirements are as follows:

• Certified copy of Technical Grade 12 or Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and Science
• One certified ID copy of learner
• One certified ID copy of both parents/guardian(s)

On your application, please ensure that certified copies of certificates and all applicable documentation accompany your application. Failure to submit the attachments in your application will result in non-consideration of your application.

ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF STUDENTS WILL BE ADMITTED FOR A PROGRAMME AS WE HAVE LIMITED AVAILABLE SPACES

WORKPLACE  BASED EXPERIENCE (WBE) AND WORKINTEGRATED LEARNING (WIL):

All N6 qualified students who have not been afforded the opportunity to do 18 months practical experience to qualify

REPORT 191 DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS

• Culmination of performance in theory (N4 N6) and experiential workplace learning
• Business Studies; Theory (N4-N6) : a minimum of 18 months Experiential workplace learning: 18 months
• Engineering Studies: Theory (N4-N6):a minimum of 12 months Experiential workplace learning: 24 months
• While an applicant can begin experiential workplace learning upon entry into N4, the Diploma certificate can only be issued once the full 3-year period has been completed
