The application for the Allan Grey Orbis Foundation 1st Year University Bursary for the academic year 2024-2025 is now open by the Allan Grey Orbis Foundation for all South Africans in South Africa.
The Allan Grey Orbis Foundation hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the Allan Grey Orbis Foundation 1st Year University Bursary. It is meant for students that intend to or are currently studying towards degree and diploma programmes that are aligned to the following listed below:
- Law, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Humanities, Arts or Health Science (excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science and Dentistry) degree
The Allan Grey Orbis Foundation 1st Year University Bursary Programme assists by supporting financially deserving students with great academic potential to take their first steps in achieving their dreams and obtaining their undergraduate degree. The Allan Grey Orbis Foundation 1st Year University Bursary Programme aims to fund academically deserving students who do not have the financial means to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree.

ALLAN GREY ORBIS FOUNDATION 1ST YEAR UNIVERSITY BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
- Minimum 65% average in June examination
- Not older than 22 years in 2024
- South African Citizenship
- CURRENTLY studying towards a Law, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Humanities, Arts or Health Science (excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science and Dentistry) degree
- CURRENTLY studying at one of our partner institutions: Stellenbosch University, UCT, UWC, Tsiba, NMU, Rhodes, UKZN, UFS, UP, UJ or Wits

- Applications must be completed on the ONLINE platform before the deadline to be considered for a bursary.
