It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the Centre for Diploma and Pre-degree Programme[CDPD/JUPEB], UNIJOS is offering the Pre Degree programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year leading to admission into Undergraduate degree programmes. Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.

UNIJOS PRE DEGREE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

Entry Requirements: 

• Candidates must possess Ordinary Level, SSCE (WAEC), SSCE (NECO), NABTEB or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) relevant credit passes in subjects which must include English Language for Arts; and English and Mathematics for Sciences and Social Sciences.
• Candidates with deficiencies in their ‘O’ level results will be considered; but such candidates are, however, required to make up for any deficiency before the 2024/2025 admission exercise.

Application Procedure

• Application forms are available online on the University Website: http://mis.unijos.edu.ng upon payment of the sum of FifteenThousand Naira (N15, 000.00) only through Remita.

Step 1: Account Creation and Activation

1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
2. Click Programme Menu and select Remedial Sciences
3. Fill in the online account creation form (Ensure to provide functional email and phone number)
4. Click on Register when completed to submit (An activation link will be sent to the email provided. Login to the email and click on the link to activate your account and proceed with the registration)

Step 2: Payment for the Application Form

1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
2. Click on LOGIN
3. Enter your email and password and then click Log In (You will be logged in to your personalized dashboard)
4. Click on Application Charge and then on Pay Application Charges. (A window containing payment details will be displayed.)
5. Click SELECT PAYMENT
6. Select your preferred payment option (Bank Branch, Card, etc) and provide the details required
7. Follow the prompt through until payment is successful
8. Print the receipt upon successful payment. Also print the other copy of the receipt sent to your mail.

Step 3: Personal Information Registration

1. 1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
   2. Click on LOGIN
   3. Type your email and password and then click Log In (You will be logged in to your personalized dashboard)
   4. Click on My Profile
   5. Click on Add/Edit Bio-Data
   6. Complete the online registration. Ensure you enter all the information requested on all tabs: bio-data, result, sponsor, next of kin as well as passport and signature upload.
   7. Click on Submit once completed (a form will be generated for you. Print and keep a copy for future reference)

MAKE SURE YOU LOGOUT FROM YOUR APPLICATION WHEN YOU ARE DONE.
