FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OWERRI ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS
Candidates who chose the Federal University of Technology, Owerri as First Choice University in the 2022/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are hereby invited to apply for an aptitude test. The following conditions apply:- UTME Candidate must have scored a minimum of 120 in their UTME

FUTO Post UTME/DE Online Application Procedure
To apply, follow the steps outlined below:- Visit the University website: futo.edu.ng
- Click on Prospective
- Click on the link; “2024/2025 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application”.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
- Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM
- Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number
- Proceed with the completion of the Application.
- Correctly enter your O’Level
- Confirm your entries.
- Submit your application
- Print out your acknowledgement
- Await further communication from the University.
NOTE:
- You must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further communication.
- Candidates are advised to upload their O’level results on JAMB Portal 0n or before the deadline.
- Those who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified for the Aptitude Test.
- Any candidate who fails to successfully submit his application online would automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission.
- Kindly ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri on/before the deadline.
FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OWERRI APPLICATION FEE
Eligible candidates would be required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00). This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through FUTO, do not qualify for admission to FUTO or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. FUTO does not accept cash at any of its offices. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through FUTO is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.FUTO APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All applicants starting a new qualification must present all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:- UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- FUTO Post-UTME Acknowledgement Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
- FUTO Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
- Passport Photographs
