EKSU Pre Degree Application Forms – 2024/2025 Admission

It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the Centre for Diploma and Pre-degree Programme[CDPD/JUPEB], EKSU is offering the Pre Degree programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year leading to admission into Undergraduate degree programmes. Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.

EKSU PRE DEGREE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

Entry Requirements: 

• Candidates must possess Ordinary Level, SSCE (WAEC), SSCE (NECO), NABTEB or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) relevant credit passes in subjects which must include English Language for Arts; and English and Mathematics for Sciences and Social Sciences.
• Candidates with deficiencies in their ‘O’ level results will be considered; but such candidates are, however, required to make up for any deficiency before the 2024/2025 admission exercise.

Application Procedure

The application form is N15,600.

Via Remita:

1. Click on “PAY” to log in to remita
2. Select the name of service/purpose of what you are paying for, i.e. “PREEDEGREE APPLICATION FORM FOR 2021/ 2022 ACADEMIC SESSION”.
3. Fill in the course you are applying for.
4. Fill in your name (Applicant’s name).
5. Fill in your phone number (Applicant’s Personal Phone number).
6. Fill in your VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS (Applicant’s Email).
7. Confirm e-mail address. (Please ensure your email address is active and correct as your payment receipt will be sent to any email address provided on the biller. You may not get a receipt if the email is incorrect.
8. Please click on the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA box for verification.
9. Click “Submit”.
10. Then select how you want to pay e.g.
    • CARD (This method requires that you fill in your ATM card (Master, Visa or Verve card) details to make a payment).
    • Bank Branch (This method requires that you enter any bank that processes Remita transaction and present your pre-generated RRR code to make a payment). (You are advised to use any of the above methods of payment for ease of service). Note: Please ensure you fill in your details correctly as payment made for Post-UTME application in error is non-refundable.
11. Make sure you copy or print the RRR number generated after successful payment.
12. Go to the University admission portal eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng.
13. Click on ‘ADMISSION’, a drop-down list of applications will appear, click on ‘Apply for Admission’.
14. It will take you to a signup page, where you will create an account.
15. On successfully sign-up, locate the sign in and log in to your dashboard.
16. You will see the list of available application, locate PRE DEGREE APPLICATION on the dashboard and click on apply.
17. The next page is to confirm your payment. You are to enter your payment reference number that was generated while making payment on Remita. Enter the ‘RRR’ and click on proceed.
18.  The next page will take in your biodata.
19. Click on the submit button to complete your application.

Via Interswitch:

1. Login to quickteller.com
2. Search for “Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti” at the “find a biller” Search Bar
3. Fill in your email address or phone number in the space provided.
4. Input the Payer’s Full name (The Applicant’s full name)
5. Search for “APPLICATION FORM (PRE-DEGREE)”
6. Click on “Continue”
7. Fill in your card details
8. Click on “pay”
9. Go to the University admission portal eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng.
10. Click on ‘ADMISSION’, a drop-down list of applications will appear, click on ‘Apply for Admission’.
11. It will take you to a signup page, where you will create an account.
12. On successfully sign-up, locate the sign in and log in to your dashboard.
13. You will see the list of available applications, locate PREDEGREE APPLICATION on the dashboard and click on apply.

15.  The next page will take in your biodata.
16. Click on the submit button to complete your application.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• • Pre-Degree Students are required to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtain the National minimum UTME cut-off mark as may be fixed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  • Only candidates who are successful in the internal Pre-degree examinations conducted by the Directorate of Pre-Degree Programme and satisfy the UTME requirement would be considered for admission into 100 level of the full-time degree programmes in the University including MBBS, Law, Nursing Science, etc.
  • All candidates seeking admission into the Pre-Degree Programme must note that admission into the various degree programmes is not automatic.
