It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the School of Graduate Studies, AUN, is offering postgraduate Postgraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year leading to the award of Masters, PGD, and doctorate degrees.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.
AUN POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements:
O/LEVEL
- All candidates require a credit pass in English language and mathematics for all the courses. However, candidates who obtained their O’Level certificates before 2012 without a credit pass in mathematics
ALL POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
- A successful applicant must be a graduate of a recognised university with an average grade point average (CGPA) of not less than 3.0 on a 5.0 maximum CGPA (or Second Class Lower Division).
- In addition to meeting all of the other admissions requirements, each applicant is expected to have a minimum of one year of work experience, preferably at the mid-level or senior management level.
Application Procedure:
All applicants are required to use the American University of Nigeria [AUN] online application portal to apply, thereby uploading the required academic documents.
Applicants must submit the following materials to the Graduate Admissions Office:
- A completed application form (Download the Application Form)
- Graduation certificate with verifiable grades and required grade point average
- Official transcript from each university attended
- Copies of all certificates of each university attended
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- Evidence of payment of application fee
- A current Curriculum Vitae
- A personal statement of purpose
- NYSC Certificate
