Karatina University Academic Calendar – 2023/2024 Academic Session

Karatina University, KaRu, has released its academic calendar for the 2023–2024 academic session. Newly admitted and returning students are to take note. The academic calendar hints about Karatina University, the KaRu resumption date for new and returning students in 2023, the examination date, and other academic activities for the year. See below the academic calendar for sessional dates for the 2023–2024 academic year.

KARU SESSIONAL DATES FOR THE 2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

  First-year students (2023-2024 Academic Year) The first semester of the 2023–2024 academic Year tuition commenced on Monday, September 18, 2023. All students are therefore advised to take note and adhere to the listed timelines.

1. To complete online registration of courses for blended learning through a Learning Management System (LMS/Moodle) student account on or before Friday, October 13, 2023, and attend classes as expected.
2. Continuous Assessment Tests are scheduled to be administered as follows:
   • First Continuous Assessment Test: between October 9^th, 2023, and October 27^th, 2023 (4^th to 6^th week).
   • Second Continuous Assessment Test: between November 6^th, 2023 and November 24^th, 2023 (8^th to 10^th Week)
3. Administration of First Semester Examinations will start on Monday, January 15, 2024, and last until Friday, January 26, 2024. A detailed examination timetable will be released in due course.
