JOOUST eLearning Login Guide: ejooust.ac.ke

This article contains information on how to gain access to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) eLearning Portal (ejooust.ac.ke) also known as E-Learning Management System (LMS).

STEPS ON HOW TO ACCESS AND ENROL FOR THE JOOUST E-LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. 

The following is a guide on how to enrol in the JOOUST LMS.

• Access the JoOUST E-Learning Portal:
  • Open your web browser and go to the official JOOUST eLearning website: https://ejooust.ac.ke
• Navigate to the Login Page:
  • On the homepage, locate the menu bar (top or side).
  • Click on E-LEARNING WEBSITE (highlighted in the second screenshot’s menu). This will direct you to the login page.
• Enter Your Credentials:
  • On the login page (second screenshot), fill in the following:
    • Username: Enter your registered username.
    • Password: Type your password.
• Adjust Settings & Options:
  • Tick Remember username to save it for future logins (optional).
  • If you forgot your details, click Forgotten your username or password? to reset.
• Enable Cookies:
  • Ensure cookies are enabled in your browser settings (required for the portal to function).
• Log In:
  • Click the LOGIN button to access your e-learning dashboard.

Additional Notes:

• New Users: Click JOIN LEI NOW! on the homepage (https://ejooust.ac.ke) to register.
• Troubleshooting: If login fails, double-check your credentials, ensure cookies are enabled, or contact JoOUST support.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In cases where students do not have access to any device or data, other options are being explored, including the possibility of using the Post Office to deliver paper-based material to students. Additional support will be made available for students when contact teaching resumes, and particularly for students who will have had difficulty in transitioning to online learning.

Students who have queries related to the academic programme should contact their respective schools. Students who do not have access to adequate mobile computing devices and cannot secure them elsewhere should contact their Faculty representatives.
